Skipping Stone Studs

The Skipping Stone Stud- a reflection on the size and shape of that perfect skipping stone. You know the one when you find it. It nestles in the palm of your hand perfectly before you find the best place to give it a flick of the wrist and watch it skim across the surface of the water one, two…was that five skips? 
These eccentric earrings that will swing and move and you do, are hand formed from Argentium silver or 14k yellow Gold Fill, then textured with my favorite hammer to give it strength and a delicious surface. Silver posts and butterfly clutches for the silver pairs, and 14k yellow Gold Fill for the gold pairs.

The overall height for these earrings is approximately 2 3/4” and they’re about 1 1/8” at the widest part. As always, these are handmade so there may be minor variations in measurements from pair to pair.
